Press Release on Special Interaction and Meditation Programme organised by the Embassy of Nepal in Bahrain to Mark the Second World Meditation Day on 21 December 2025
On the occasion of the Second World Meditation Day, the Embassy of Nepal in Manama, in collaboration with Jeevan Vigyan, Nepal, organized a Special Interaction and Meditation Programme with representatives of the Nepali community in Bahrain on 21 December 2025.
Ambassador Tirtha Raj Wagle welcomed the participants to the interactive meditation session held at the Ambassador’s Residence. In his brief remarks, Ambassador Wagle underscored the significance of World Meditation Day, as proclaimed by the United Nations in December 2024, and highlighted Nepal’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
Mr. Raju Humagain, an instructor from Jeevan Vigyan, led guided sessions on energization, breathing techniques, and Swajagaran meditation, followed by an interactive discussion on meditation, yoga, inner health and holistic wellbeing.
The programme was facilitated by Mr. Deepraj Joshi, Third Secretary of the Embassy.
Representatives from various Nepali community groups and associations in Bahrain, as well as members of the Embassy family and friends, attended the programme, reflecting keen interest, curiosity, and self-reflection.
